Transcript Requests

Greenville Technical College has partnered with Parchment Exchange to provide secure and convenient online transcript ordering services. You may submit requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location.

• For digital copies, the cost of each transcript order is $10. Paper copies can be sent for $12 each.
• Electronic transcripts are no longer "official" when forwarded to a third party.
• You must resolve any outstanding balance owed to the college before your official transcript can be issued. If your transcript request is canceled due to financial obligations, you may submit a new request once your account is settled in the Bursar's Office.
• Requests for transcripts of courses not taken at GTC must be directed to the issuing institution.
• Only complete transcripts reflecting all coursework are issued.
• GTC does not fax transcripts.
• Transcripts will not be processed when the college is closed, including holidays and weekends.
• Explanations for transcript content and terminology can be found in the college catalog.
• For any student transcripts prior to 2000, please allow extra processing time. These transcripts will be processed within four business days.

Request Your Transcript (Please read ALL instructions carefully!):

1. Click here to order a transcript.
2. Set up your profile. (It is okay to estimate your dates of attendance)
3. Choose desired options to have your transcripts sent after your final grades or degrees are posted.
4. Choose a destination from the menu or type in an address.
5. Pay online

Current Students

Unofficial transcripts are available free of charge to current students. Use this Unofficial Transcripts Link to access your unofficial transcripts (GTC4me Login Required).

You may also navigate to your Unofficial Transcript using the following steps:

1. Log into GTC4me
2. Select WebAdvisor
3. Select Academic Profile
4. Select Transcript

Former Students

Former students, including those who owe a balance to the college, can request an unofficial transcript in writing to Student Records by emailing studentrecords@lxgdgy.com.

Former students who do not owe a balance to the college can request access to their official transcript using the online request system listed above (See REQUEST YOUR GREENVILLE TECH TRANSCRIPT).

Students who need a copy of their transcripts for a continuing education course can request a copy from the Continuing Education Registration Office.

A copy of your transcript may be mailed or picked up when required information is provided. Please note the transcript provides a Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory status - not a grade status.

The charge for a duplicate certificate is $10 (some exceptions apply). The charge for a transcript that you pick up is $8. If you need a transcript mailed, the charge is $10. Students must sign a release form. Please call ahead at (864) 250-8800. 

In order to process this request by mail, the following must be provided: 

• a copy of your driver’s license or ID 
• Social Security number 
• the course name 
• year taken 
• where to send the transcript
